Built by Hand. Designed to Last.
Custom furniture rooted in craftsmanship, built for real homes.
Where It Started
Luke’s Furniture Company began in a garage—built on a simple idea: make furniture the right way.
After leaving a career in teaching, Luke set out to build pieces that felt different from what he was seeing in stores. Solid wood. Thoughtful design. Furniture that didn’t just look good on delivery day, but still looked right years later.
What started as a one-man shop has grown into a dedicated workspace and a team of skilled craftsmen in Wilmington, North Carolina—serving clients locally and across the country.
Inspired by his daughter Capri (who taught a lot of lessons about how to make furniture truly "kid-friendly"), Luke has been crafting high end furniture for 12 years.

What We Beleive
Furniture should be built to last—and built to be lived with.
We believe in using solid hardwoods, not veneers, finishes that hold up to daily use, and designs that feel intentional in a space, not temporary.
Most of all, we believe the process matters. The time spent refining details. The care taken in building each piece. The goal isn’t just to deliver furniture—it’s to create something that becomes part of your home.
How We Work
Every piece starts with a conversation.
Some clients come with a clear vision. Others start with a general idea. Either way, we guide the process—helping refine size, proportions, wood selection, and finish.
From there, each piece is built in our shop using solid hardwood and professional-grade finishes designed for everyday use.
The result is furniture that fits your space, your style, and the way you live.
Why Clients Choose Us
Our clients aren’t looking for something off the shelf.
They want furniture that fits their home, holds up over time, and feels right in the space. Many begin with a single piece—a dining table, a set of chairs, a built-in—and return later to continue building out their home.
It’s not just about customization. It’s about getting it right.
The Shop Today
Today, Luke’s Furniture Company operates out of a dedicated shop in Wilmington, North Carolina.
We work primarily with hardwoods like maple, walnut, and mahogany—selected for both durability and character. Each piece is built, finished, and prepared for delivery with the same level of attention to detail.
While the tools and space have grown, the approach hasn’t changed.
Every piece is still built with the same focus it started with: quality first.
