Each piece is handcrafted to highlight what nature created and shaped to fit your home.  [Schedule a Design Consultation](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/schedule-a-design-consult?hsLang=en) [Explore Natura Pricing](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/lfc-natura-collection#price) #####  Typical investment: $6,000–$15,000+  ### Custom Furniture Inspired by the Wood Itself  Some tables begin with a style. Others begin with a slab. The Natura Collection is designed for clients who are drawn to the organic beauty of real hardwood—live edges, flowing grain, natural variation, and forms that feel sculpted rather than repeated. These pieces often feature slab tops, waterfall details, epoxy rivers or design, bookmatching, or other elements that preserve and celebrate the individuality of the wood. No two Natura pieces are exactly alike. That is the point. While our Signature Collection offers streamlined customization around our core designs, Natura is for those who want something more natural, expressive, and one-of-a-kind. [See What Makes Natura Different](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/lfc-natura-collection#different) ![DSC_0499-1](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/hubfs/Gallery/Dining%20Tables%20and%20Benches/Live%20Edge/DSC_0499-1.jpeg "DSC_0499-1") ### Designed for Clients Who Want More Than a Standard Table  The Natura Collection is ideal for homeowners who want their furniture to feel truly singular—something with natural movement, depth, and presence that cannot be pulled from a catalog. This collection may be the right fit if you are looking for: - A live edge dining table or statement piece - A design that highlights the natural shape of the slab - A one-of-a-kind table with dramatic grain or character - A more artistic, organic aesthetic - A centerpiece that feels both handcrafted and unforgettable [Start a Natura Design Conversation](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/schedule-a-design-consult?hsLang=en) ### What Falls Within the Natura Collection  The Natura Collection can range from understated live edge tables to bold, sculptural pieces built around exceptional slabs. Depending on your style and budget, your piece may include simple organic details or more complex custom features.  ![image (13)-1](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Gallery/Dining%20Tables%20and%20Benches/Live%20Edge/image%20(13)-1.png?width=1024&height=675&name=image%20(13)-1.png "image (13)-1") ###  Live Edge Dining Tables   Clean and refined, live edge dining tables preserve the natural contour of the slab while pairing it with a thoughtfully designed base. The result is a piece that feels both organic and elevated—bringing warmth and character into the space without overwhelming it. This is often the starting point for clients who want natural beauty in a more understated, timeless form.  [Request a Quote](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/request-a-quote?hsLang=en) ### Bookmatched Slab Tables  Bookmatched tables are created by joining two slabs cut from the same tree and opening them like a book, revealing mirrored grain patterns across the surface. This creates a sense of balance and visual movement that feels both dramatic and intentional. The result is a striking centerpiece that highlights the natural symmetry and depth of the wood.  [Start Your Natura Design](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/schedule-a-design-consult?hsLang=en) ![Bookmatched Slab Table-1-1](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Bookmatched%20Slab%20Table-1-1.png?width=750&height=550&name=Bookmatched%20Slab%20Table-1-1.png "Bookmatched Slab Table-1-1") ![Waterfall Table-1](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Gallery/Dining%20Tables%20and%20Benches/Live%20Edge/Waterfall%20Table-1.png?width=1000&height=666&name=Waterfall%20Table-1.png "Waterfall Table-1") ### Waterfall Designs  Waterfall tables extend the wood grain seamlessly from the top down through the sides, creating a continuous, flowing visual effect. This design requires careful slab selection and precise craftsmanship to ensure the grain aligns perfectly at each corner. The finished piece feels architectural, sculptural, and highly refined.  [Request a Quote](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/request-a-quote?hsLang=en) ###  River and Epoxy Tables   River and epoxy tables combine natural wood slabs with poured resin to create contrast, depth, and artistic expression. These designs can range from subtle and understated to bold and highly visual, depending on the color, transparency, and composition. Each piece is completely unique and often becomes the focal point of the entire room.  [Start Your Natura Design](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/schedule-a-design-consult?hsLang=en) ![IMG_1994-Photoroom-1](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Gallery/Dining%20Tables%20and%20Benches/Live%20Edge/IMG_1994-Photoroom-1.jpeg?width=900&height=600&name=IMG_1994-Photoroom-1.jpeg "IMG_1994-Photoroom-1") ![Elegant walnut dining room design-2](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Gallery/Dining%20Tables%20and%20Benches/Live%20Edge/Elegant%20walnut%20dining%20room%20design-2.png?width=900&height=600&name=Elegant%20walnut%20dining%20room%20design-2.png "Elegant walnut dining room design-2") ###  Organic Statement Pieces  Some Natura pieces move beyond traditional table forms and into more sculptural, one-of-a-kind designs. These projects are often driven by the character of a specific slab or a highly customized vision for the space. The result is furniture that feels less like a product and more like a commissioned work built specifically for your home.  [Request a Quote](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/request-a-quote?hsLang=en) ### Natura Pricing  Because every Natura piece is built around the specific slab, design, and level of complexity, pricing is typically presented as a range rather than a fixed number. Once we finalize your design, you will be provided with a specific quote. Most Natura dining tables fall between $6,000 and $15,000+, depending on the wood, slab size, construction method, and design details. Unlike more standardized tables, the cost of a Natura piece is heavily influenced by what the material itself requires and what the final design asks of it. ### Typical Price Ranges - Starting range: $6,000+ - Most projects: $6,000–$12,000 - More complex statement pieces: $15,000+ [Request a Quote](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/request-a-quote?hsLang=en) - ##### **Slab Size and Availability** Larger slabs and rarer slabs are often more expensive, especially when sourcing for wider or longer tables. - ##### **Single Slab vs. Multi-Slab Construction** A design built from two slabs can sometimes be more attainable than sourcing one unusually large slab. - ##### **Waterfall Construction** Waterfall edges require careful slab selection, additional labor, and precise grain continuity, which increases cost. - ##### **Epoxy or River Details** Epoxy work adds both material cost and complexity to the build and finishing process. - ##### **Base Design** Custom bases, specialty materials, and more sculptural forms can significantly affect pricing. - ##### **Wood Species** Certain slabs and species are harder to source or command a premium because of figure, rarity, or demand. ### No Two Slabs Are Alike One of the defining qualities of the Natura Collection is that every piece begins with wood that already has a story to tell. Grain movement, color variation, mineral streaking, knots, sapwood, and natural edge contours all contribute to the final piece. These are not imperfections to be hidden. They are part of what makes the table yours. We help clients choose material that fits the look they want—whether that means calm and refined, bold and dramatic, or somewhere in between. ##  How the Natura Process Works  #### **Share Your Vision** Tell us about your space, size needs, style preferences, and any inspiration photos you have collected. #### **We Explore Material and Design Direction** We guide you through options for slab style, shape, edge profile, base design, and overall budget alignment. #### **We Finalize the Design** Once the design direction and materials are confirmed, we move into detailed planning and production.   #### **We Handcraft and Deliver the Piece** Your table is built, finished, and prepared for delivery as a one-of-a-kind piece made specifically for your home.   [Schedule a Design Consult](https://www.lukesfurniturecompany.com/schedule-a-design-consult?hsLang=en) ### Built for Everyday Life. Can I choose my slab? Why is Natura priced as a range instead of a fixed amount? Yes. Every Natura piece is custom built around the design, size, and material selected for your project.  In many cases, yes. Depending on the project, we can help guide slab selection based on your design goals and budget.   Because slab availability, wood figure, size, and design complexity can vary significantly from one project to another.  Do live edge tables fit refined or modern homes? What makes a waterfall or river table more expensive? Can you work from inspiration photos? Absolutely. A live edge or slab table can feel rustic, modern, coastal, or highly refined depending on the top, base, and finish choices.  These designs require more complex material selection, fabrication, and finishing to achieve the final look.  Yes. Many Natura projects begin with inspiration images and evolve into a custom design tailored to your home.  ##  Guided Design. Proven Results.  While nearly every piece can be customized, we guide each design within proven construction methods. This ensures structural integrity, long-term durability, and a finished piece that feels balanced and intentional. You’re not left to figure it out on your own—we help you make the right decisions along the way.
