CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Keep It Beautiful

The care of wood furniture varies according to the wood type and finish and the function of the piece.

Wood is a natural material susceptible to climate and the elements. Avoid placing your furniture in highly humid or dry areas, such as directly next to air vents. Direct sunlight may slightly darken or lighten wood furniture.

Note: Based on frequency of use and storage, dining table leaves may change tone at a different rate than the table itself.

Dust with a dry, soft cloth. Remove any soil buildup with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Wipe spills immediately with a soft, dry cloth. If water is left standing, white spots can occur but should dissipate over time.

Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives on any finish. Always use coasters or trivets to prevent heat and water from having direct contact with wood surfaces.

Use felt pads on any displays or hard objects that are placed directly on the wood. Avoid contact with certain materials, such as rubber, which might react with the finish.

FAQ

We do!!! While our showroom primarily acts as a design studio to help you design the perfect custom piece, we keep it stocked with furniture and decor that can be purchased in store.

We are located at 3871 US HWY 421 near the power plant. The GPS may tell you to turn into the Two Men and a Truck parking lot. Drive PAST their lot and turn into the next lot by Wolsley Industrial Supply. We are located in the building on the left.

Yes, we just ask that you please make an appointment during our regular hours. We encourage all clients to come see their piece before we apply the final finish coat and give approval. Once the final finish coat is on, we cannot make changes, but before it is applied changes can be made to color and distressing.
Our standard for the smoothness of our tables is that you can wipe them down with a wet paper towel. Some rustic tables out there will give you splinters and are nearly impossible to clean, but that is simply poor craftsmanship. Even our most rustic tables will pass the paper towel test. Our polyurethane finish can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
Yes, we do offer in house design consultations. We charge a $125 fee but waive it with a purchase of over $1000. We recommend you contact us first to get a price estimate you are comfortable with to avoid paying the fee.
We request that you please call ahead or make an appointment to visit the workshop. We are generally in the shop Monday – Friday from 9-5 but we may have to leave for client meetings, deliveries, lunch, materials pickups, etc. If you are out looking at furniture, give us a call and see if we are here. We also offer appointments in the evenings and on Saturday mornings.
Absolutely! If you would like to design a custom piece, but can’t get to the workshop we can do so via phone and email. Just contact us directly to get started.
Yes we do! We work with a variety of companies that offer White Glove delivery service to your home. We can ship anywhere in the 48 continental states!

Our tables are built to be passed down through generations. That being said, it is recommended with all dining tables that they have a new finish coat applied every five to ten years.

We offer specialty refinishing and repair of our own furniture, but not other furniture. We recommend contacting a specialist in repair and refinishing for all other furniture. You may find that refinishing costs as much as building new. If that is the case, give us a call!
