Step 2: Choose Your Wood
Wood Species - Choosing wood species can completely change the look of the table.
Each type of wood has a unique wood grain that can make any table look modern, coastal, rustic, etc.

Maple - Our most popular wood. The wood itself is almost white, so we can stain it almost any color. The flowy grain pattern and color variations of maple make it the perfect way to add a coastal or refined rustic touch to your space. Color variations in the grain give maple a look of aged driftwood.
Mahogany - Our sustainably harvested mahogany features a straight grain for more sleek, contemporary look. The medium natural coloring of mahogany leaves us with less flexibility in staining, but the grain is so interesting you will want to preserve it's natural color.
Walnut - Walnut is one of the most naturally beautiful woods we use. It is naturally medium dark and features truly breathtaking grain. We love to use a natural finish and "Let Walnut be Walnut". The incredible grain can feature light streaks, purple and reddish hues and wild figuring. If you love the look of it, bbut want a little more control of the color, our Warm Walnut creates a more consistent color.Step 3: Choose your finish

Carolina SandsOur most popular stain! Blended to the color of sand. A great way to bring warmth to your space without dark colors.
ProvencialOur medium brown stain with no reddish hints.

SteelOur most popular gray! Brown and gray stains are mixed to give a warmer gray color.

Step 4: Choose your size
Dimensions
Whether you plan to use your table in a small breakfast nook to seat four, or you want an extending table for large dinner parties, the dimensions are very important to get right. Although there are common sizes (available in our store), you can customize to your exact needs to maximize your seating potential.
Sizing Your Space
First you need to measure your space.The general rule is that you want AT LEAST 36" between the table and all walls or other obstructions.
We always recommend using painter's tape to tape off the area of the table. Make sure it does not feel overcrowded in your room.
Seating Capacity
The size of your space will inevitably limit your seating capacity at your table. Most chairs are between 18" and 22" wide, but it is ideal for each person seated to have 30" of space to themselves. We recommend a minimum of 24" per person, but that can be a bit of a squeeze.Our most popular sizes: 72" x 36" - Seats 6 | 84" x 42" - Seats 6-8 | 96" x 48" - Seats 8-10

Table Height
Table heights are generally standard, but can be adjusted for your comfort.A tall family make choose to add a couple inches and visa versa.
