Walnut is one of our favorite woods to build furniture from. It is a naturally beautiful, medium dark wood with a stunning grain pattern and color variations. We do not even need to stain it to control the color, as oil brings out the natural color and lets the wood shine. However, as with any type of wood furniture, it can develop scratches and imperfections over time. Fortunately, there's a simple and effective DIY solution that often works wonders: using a walnut to fix scratches on your walnut wood table. In this article, we'll guide you through the process of harnessing the natural power of walnuts to rejuvenate your table's surface.

## Materials You'll Need

- Before you begin, gather these essential materials:
- A fresh walnut (unshelled)
- Soft, lint-free cloths
- Furniture wax or polish (optional)
- Fine-grit sandpaper (if necessary)
